The Transform-ER project aims to address the numerous barriers to home retrofitting through a Demand-Develop-Deploy structure to establish a new retrofit system. In this role, I oversee 8 work packages across 13 partners, ensuring the successful planning and delivery of the project.
With a background in environmental management and climate studies, I embarked on my professional journey as a Researcher at an environmental consultancy. There, I honed my qualitative and quantitative research skills, delving into data analysis, report writing and stakeholder consultation across projects for both private and public clients across the UK and EU.
My journey brought me to Climate Strategies, where I led on a number of projects and proposals as a Programme Officer, with the aim to translate complex research findings into actionable recommendations for policymakers. This was underpinned by financial and technical reporting, stakeholder management, contract oversight and project scoping.
Prior to joining Energiesprong UK, I worked for the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames as a Climate Action Officer, leading on the Council’s retrofit and energy portfolio. Key activities included a Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) bid, energy reduction contracts and local planning.
Submitting an SHDF bid and being awarded funding - and outside of work I enjoyed walking the South Downs Way!
