Justine Prain works as a Senior Project Manager, supporting our Housing Provider partners to deliver their ambitious Energiesprong retrofit projects. This involves working closely with the design and delivery teams on the day-to-day implementation of the Energiesprong model, but also contributing to capturing the all important lessons learned and the knowledge needed to scale up this approach.

Justine started her sustainability career at the Energy Saving Trust, managing a variety of grant programmes on behalf of UK central government.  She also led the delivery of the Pay As You Save pilots; one of the early projects testing innovative new approaches to financing home retrofit projects through the savings made on bills.

Following this she worked on a variety of projects developing new approaches to retrofit. All with the same goal of trying to find new business models to support the challenge of upgrading the existing UK housing stock for a net zero future.
